Fuerstin Gloria Top-Priced Horse

At the Hanoverian November-Auction in Verden, right the first horse of the collection was sold at the highest price of the day. Australian customers paid Euro 50,000 for the Fuerst Heinrich/Davignon-daughter Fuerstin Gloria (breeder and exhibitor: Stefan Schroeder, Bahrenborstel). 98 riding horses in total were sold at an average auction sales price of Euro 12,954.

Fair Play E by Fishermans Friend/Sandro, bred by Helga Eden, Wirdum, was the top-priced show jumping horse. A show jumping rider from the United States purchased the bay mare at Euro 25,000.

39 riding horses were sold abroad. The biggest group of customers came from the United States (12 horses), followed by France (seven horses). “The auction result matches the current market situation, and according to these conditions, it was excellent,” stated auction manager Dr. Guenther Friemel.

Three in-foal brood mares completed the auction collection. State premium candidate Las Palmas by Londonderry/Weltmeyer (breeder: Albert Kampert, Halle – exhibitor: Peter Achilles, Nordhorn) out of the same line as Olympic champion Satchmo was sold at Euro 10,000 to Denmark.
